Daniel Sutton
President & CEO
Daniel Sutton founded Bay Harbor Private Wealth Group in 2023 with a clear purpose to deliver a more personalized and integrated approach to wealth management for successful individuals and families.
A Tampa Bay native with more than 15 years of experience, Daniel specializes in advising high-net-worth investors, business owners, and retirees. His approach is comprehensive and relationship driven, integrating investment management, retirement planning, tax efficient strategies, and estate planning into a cohesive financial roadmap tailored to each client’s unique objectives.
Daniel earned his degree in Business Finance from the University of South Florida and began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he quickly advanced into leadership as a Market Sales Manager, mentoring and developing financial advisors. He later served nearly a decade as Vice President of Investments and Wealth Management at JP Morgan, guiding affluent families in structuring and preserving their wealth.
As a husband and father, Daniel understands that wealth is not simply about accumulation but about providing security, opportunity, and continuity for the next generation. His commitment to disciplined planning and thoughtful stewardship is rooted not only in professional experience, but in the values he lives out with his own family.
Today, through Bay Harbor Private Wealth Group, Daniel focuses on building enduring partnerships grounded in trust, clarity, and disciplined strategy. He is known for simplifying complex financial matters and delivering thoughtful guidance that aligns clients’ financial decisions with their long term goals and values.
Rolondo Lopez

Strategic Tax Advisor | Integrated Wealth Architecture
A Tampa Bay resident since 2003, Rolando earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master’s in Accounting from the University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business, building a strong technical foundation that now supports high-net-worth families and business owners throughout the region.
As a licensed CPA in the State of Florida, Rolando began his career with Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C., a nationally recognized public accounting firm, where he audited both private and publicly traded companies across a wide range of industries. He later joined Jabil Circuit, Inc., a Fortune 500 multinational manufacturer, traveling internationally to optimize financial controls and operational processes across global manufacturing facilities.
These experiences shaped Rolando’s disciplined, systems-oriented approach to accounting, tax planning, and operational efficiency. a perspective that aligns seamlessly with Bay Harbor Private Wealth Group’s philosophy of coordinated wealth strategy.
Collaborating with Bay Harbor, Rolando plays a critical role in integrating tax strategy into comprehensive financial planning for high-net-worth families and business owners navigating liquidity events, retirement transitions, and generational wealth transfer. His work supports tax-efficient retirement strategies, liquidity event tax modeling, business exit planning, multi-entity structuring, estate planning coordination, and ongoing proactive tax mitigation designed to preserve and compound wealth over time.
Rolando is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He also serves as Board President of the InterCultural Advocacy Institute, a nonprofit organization providing social services to immigrant families in Pinellas County.
Outside of his professional work, Rolando enjoys traveling, real estate investing, and spending time with family.
